Huawei P70 Art may adopt 50MP ultra-wide lens and 50MP periscope camera
Huawei P70 Art will come with amazing camera features and a new leak says that this top-end model may adopt a 50MP ultra-wide lens and a 50MP periscope telephoto macro shooter. Now we’ve some specific numbers on the camera details.
Weibo tech analyst @DigitalChatStation has given us some fresh inputs that reveal the Huawei P70 Art will use a triple-camera system including a 50MP IMX 989 main camera with variable aperture technology, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto + macro shooter with 4x zoom capabilities.
The overall camera specifications are quite in line with previous reports. However, the tipster said that there could be some shifts in these specs. Perhaps, the company may tune up the optical structure to a greater extent to upgrade the user experience.
It is no more a secret that the Chinese tech giant is working on effective and new camera solutions for its approaching P-series smartphones. No doubt, these changes will bring eye-catching photography functions to users like never before.
Huawei P70 Art: Camera
Starting with the main camera, the 50MP IMX 989 sensor is likely to use a glass-plastic (1G+6P) hybrid lens which will ultimately increase the image quality as well as the IMX 989 sensor’s capabilities. Besides, the variable aperture will help in maximizing the light intake for iconic night images.
Hybrid Lens: It provides higher quality and sharp pixels. It also reduces chromatic aberration so that you can get crisp, detailed, and vibrant shots. Being durable and lightweight, it easily fits inside the optical framework.
Ultra-Wide: The company has been planning an upgraded ultra-wide camera solution for its new premium smartphone lineup. Ming-Chi Kuo predicted that Genius Electronic Optical would be the supplier of the ultra-wide lens for the Huawei P70 series.
Finally, Huawei could bring a combination of periscope and macro lens for the top-end P70 model with 4x zoom capabilities. Probably, this could be more powerful than what we have seen in the P60 Pro handset.
