Huawei P60 series tested with center pill shape cutout screen but…
The Huawei P60 series is coming and we’ve still not seen the original device. Yet there are some new inputs that continue to appear including the Huawei P60 series test model with pill shape cutout screen, similar to iPhone 14 series.
According to the input coming from Weibo tipster Classmateguan, Huawei had a pill shape cutout model in the P60 series cadre but decided to put a single-hole punch version in production.
Interestingly, it was a pill shape cutout in the top-center of the screen, which is under discussion after the Huawei Nova 11 leak. It seems like Huawei wants to introduce this display first in Nova 11 lineup and might later on the Mate 60 series later on.
Past design:
If we look back to its predecessors, the Huawei P30 series unveiled a waterdrop screen design. P40 Pro adapted pill shape hole punch is on the top left corner, while a single hole punch is on the standard P40. On the flip side, Huawei P50 Pro only utilized a single-hole punch in the top center part of the screen.
Past Engeeniering model:
A recent revealing of an engineering model showed a different version of the camera system, which felt quite real in terms of appearance. As it was a modified version of the P50 Pro and had a camera bump along with the dual ring design.
Test model:
Huawei tests a number of smartphone designs ahead of the final release. This helps the company to experiment and test the pre-production features without revealing them in public.
Huawei P60 series:
We are so excited that Huawei is moving along with the schedule and the P60 series lineup will unveil in the first quarter of this year. It will equip Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ chipset and HarmonyOS 3.1. The camera section will aim at new photography features to enhance your user experience.
