Huawei P60 Pro vs OnePlus 11 vs Xiaomi 12S Ultra: App Management Test
Huawei P60 Pro is the ultimate flagship, despite many challenges in the supply chain, Huawei finally brought in this device to the consumers. Now, there’s a new app management test for Huawei P60 Pro, OnePlus 11, and Xiaomi 12S Ultra, which you should see.
Huawei P60 Pro comes with a brand of HarmonyOS 3.1 software, which promises to optimize performance and fix bugs. It also promises to improve the speed of interactions.
Looking at the hardware, Huawei P60 Pro equips Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
What’s the test?
The test includes load measurement of 20 mobile apps. In action, the test has continues opening speed measurement of 10 apps. On the other hand, the second test includes the retention rate of 20 apps in the background.
The 10 apps for the first half test include QQ Music, Pinduoduo, Tencent Video, Meituan, Baidu, Toutiao, Taobao, WPS, Baidu Maps, and Weibo. The test also includes power consumption for each app launch.
Other than Huawei P60 Pro, the comparison includes the Xiaomi 12S Ultra 12GB+256GB version along with MIUI 14 software, and the third one is the OnePlus 11 16GB+256GB version. The RAM sizes of the three models are different, so there the result could vary.
In the continuous opening test of 10 apps, the results come as the following: Overall time. As these are very close to each other.
- Huawei P60 Pro 39 seconds
- Xiaomi 12S Ultra 37 seconds
- OnePlus 11 37 seconds
In the app retaining test of 20 mobile apps, the tester opened 20 apps and put them in the background to check how many of the apps are retained in the memory of the phones.
- OnePlus 11 16GB+256GB version performed the best, with a total of 18 applications retained.
- Xiaomi 12S Ultra comes close to the OnePlus 11, with a total of 17 applications retained.
- The performance of the Huawei P60 Pro was low with 13 applications.
Conclusion:
In the first test, Huawei P60 Pro is close to the level of the current top flagship with high memory. However, the adequate RAM caused Huawei P60 Pro from retaining most of the applications in the memory.
But one thing is for sure the optimizations made to the HarmonyOS 3.1 are way better and execute on-screen tasks with fast speed even with 8GB of RAM.
