Huawei P50 to feature the largest camera sensor, will raise the bar of mobile photography
With the launch of the upcoming Huawei P50, the company will continue the trend of introducing new camera technology and proceed with the legacy, the Huawei P50 will equip with a new camera sensor to raise the bar of mobile photography.
A Weibo tipster reveals that the upcoming Huawei P50 lineup will feature 1/1.18-inch (16:9) Sony IMX sensor that may come from IMX 700 or IMX 800 series sensor.
To be mentioned, the Huawei P40 was the first smartphone to equip the world’s largest camera sensor of 1/1.28-inch with RYYB color mapping, with 40% more light intake in comparison to any other CMOS sensor.
According to the information, Huawei P50 and P50 Pro will equip with a new oval shape camera bump that looks absolutely humongous and has two inner circles that look absolutely good. Still, there’s no information available on the exact specs but we’ll get them soon.
Furthermore, the previously leaked renders reveal that the Huawei P50 and P50 Pro will have a hole-punch design on the top center position. There are different inputs and outputs in these devices. The previous report also reveals that this flagship will be powered by a 5nm Kirin 9000 processor.
