Huawei P50 receiving new features with April 2022 firmware [HM OS]
Standard Huawei P50 smartphone is receiving April 2022 firmware update that brings various new features and improvements. For improved system security, it also installs the latest April 2022 security patch released for HarmonyOS devices.
According to the information, Huawei P50 April 2022 update comes with the latest HarmonyOS build number 2.0.1.232. To get this push version, the corresponding device owners require their smartphone to run on HM OS 2.0.1.217 version.
To install the update, Huawei P50 users need to open the settings menu, tap on system & updates followed by software updates. Now, tap on check for updates and let the phone fetch the latest update for you. Once the update appeared, tap on download and install.

Coming to the latest changes, this update adds stream shutter mode, which can capture the movement trajectory of light and takes photos with special light and shadow effects. Further, it optimizes the camera effect of super macro mode and system stability.
Lastly, the April 2022 HarmonyOS security patch fixes 1 CVE in the framework, 1 CVE in the kernel, 1 CVE in the system, 7 CVEs in applications, and 39 CVEs were resolved in third-party libraries for improved system security.
