Huawei P50 Pro receiving HarmonyOS 2.0.1.195 SP5 software update

Huawei is rolling a new HarmonyOS 2.0.1.195 SP5 software update for the flagship smartphone, Huawei P50 Pro in China. However, Huawei P50 Pro along with P50 Pocket are ready to go in the global market today (January 12).

According to the information, Huawei P50 Pro HarmonyOS 2.0.1.195 SP5 update landed with system stability optimizations. The update improves the overall performance of the device and helps the system to run smoother.

With the latest update, Huawei is enhancing the performance of the device. If you own a Huawei P50 Pro smartphone install the new update soon via visiting phone settings or alternatively, you can update through the My Huawei app.

Updates Note:

Before shifting to the new version, please some points carefully that are helpful for you. Before updating, keep a backup of your important data and maintain enough storage as well as battery on your device. Also, the update is rolling out in batches so it may take some time to reach you.

Update Instructions:

There are two options to update your device. We continue with the first option through Settings, open the Settings of your phone, tap on the System & Updates then click on Software Update and tap on CHECK FOR UPDATES.

Wait for a minute, while your device is checking for a new update. Once a new update appears, tap on download and install it on your smartphone. Alternatively, you can also request this update via the My Huawei app.

Huawei P50 Pro Global variant:

Huawei P50 Pro was initially powered by Kirin 9000 5nm chipset but the company will release the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 model to global consumers. On the other hand, the Huawei P50 Pro global version will be pre-installed with EMUI 12 operating system, instead of HarmonyOS.
