On July 29, Huawei launched two new flagships under its P50 lineup – Huawei P50 and P50 Pro. These new smartphones were very well appreciated for their camera performance, especially the P50 Pro. This top-end model even got the top spot in the DXOMARK’s camera raking for its amazing camera specs.

Huawei P50 Pro Retail Box:

Huawei P50 Pro retail box is light and thin. The dual ring design on the front side of the box is very recognizable.

Pearl White:

Huawei P50 Pro Pearl White color scheme is different from ordinary white, which is delicately frosted in terms and feels. The phone’s design is durable and comfortable to touch.

The rear camera design again sets the trend in the smartphone industry in terms of appearance as well as camera quality. The set of dual matrix system creates new light and shadow in the images.

Huawei P50 Pro features dual speakers on both the upper and the lower frames respectively. The upper frame also contains an infrared remote sensor module.

Both sides of the phone have narrow borders and the power button is red. The phone has 8.5mm thick and weighs 195g, which is relatively thin and light among the current flagship devices.

This Huawei flagship equips a 6.6-inch OLED display featuring P3 global color management and 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. To provide a continuous refreshing viewing experience powered by 120Hz screen refresh rate and fast touch experience support with 300Hz touching sampling rate.

The viewing experience of the display is further enhanced with a small punch-hole design on the top center position of the screen to house a selfie camera.

Camera:

The new ring design of the Huawei P50 Pro Pearl White is the main attraction of this flagship that has a big camera bump coming out of the rear side. This giant camera bump consisting of two large rings with different cameras.

The design is very exquisite and the sides blend inwards from all four corners. On the other hand, the Pearl White color reflects its pure intention of attracting every consumer.
