As per the changelog, the Huawei P50 Pocket is fetching the new EMUI 14.2 update with the 14.2.0.145 version. The initial rollout is showing up in Europe. Though the company won’t take much time to bring the latest security benefits to other regions.

EMUI 14.2.0.145 accompanies the newly released July 2024 security patch for P50 Pocket users. This improvement package fixes 6 systems and 28 third-party library defects. It also safeguards users’ data from malicious threats or privacy exploits.

With this update, the company has added one more device to the “EMUI 14.2 received” list. However, some eligible devices are still left to obtain this major offering and enjoy a new phase, interactive themes, as well as productive features on board.

Also, it is yet to confirm if Huawei will include more phones and old flagship models to the EMUI 14.2 device list in the time ahead or not. If not all, the company should consider at least the very efficient Mate 40 Pro and P40 Pro in this case!
