Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei Consumer BG recently confirmed that Huawei P40 series will be launched by the end of March at an event in Paris, reported Frandroid. Richard broke this news during an interview with the French press at Huawei’s Shenzhen headquarter.
According to Richard, Huawei P40 series will come with upgrades over the P30 series including new design, improved camera technologies, better performance and hardware specs.
Huawei will also use Android 10 based EMUI 10 for the P40 series and not the self-developed operating system – HarmonyOS. The Huawei Mobile Services or HMS will provide necessary services and pre-installed applications if Google could not grab a special license from the US Commerce to serve Huawei.
Most importantly, these smartphones will be promoted across via all distribution channels, operators and sellers. So, it will reach to more regions and countries compared to Huawei Mate 30 series.
