Huawei P40 Pro June 2023 update rolling out

Huawei P40 Pro has started receiving June 2023 EMUI security update and this update comes with various new improvements for the smartphone to fight against vulnerabilities.

Huawei is sending June 2023 update for global Huawei P40 Pro users with EMUI 12 version 12.0.0.336 upgrading from EMUI 12.0.0.236. This upgrade is out in batches and may take some time to reach all of the P40 Pro models.

You will have to download the latest version package with a size of 341 megabytes. We suggest you grab this piece of package to improve the phone’s security.

Also, we’ve not found any other changes in the changelog except the security patch. There may be some hidden or should we say tweaks for the smartphone.

Huawei Mate 40 Pro

Yesterday, we reported the June 2023 security update for the Huawei Mate 40 Pro. It became the first device to grab new firmware. However, the phone will receive a big later this year.

Unlike the Mate 40 Pro, Huawei P40 has not been mentioned in the EMUI 13 rollout scheduled. This has raised some eyebrows in the community. However, we need to wait until more clarity on this phone comes out because the phone has much potential to run the latest software.
