Huawei P40 Pro is receiving July 2023 update

Huawei P40 Pro has become the first phone to grab the July 2023 EMUI security update. It comes amid, Huawei is testing EMUI 13 for smartphone users but the company has not confirmed Huawei P40 Pro in the category.

Huawei is rolling out EMUI 12.0.0.342 version for the Huawei P40 Pro model. The company is sending this update with the July 2023 EMUI security patch for better system security. These updates are crucial for Huawei smartphones and help users to explore the phone more safely. Therefore, all Huawei P40 Pro users should install this update as soon as it appears on their smartphone.

How to download

You need to open the Settings app, then visit the System & updates and Software update. Then tap on CHECK FOR UPDATES. Now your device will check for the latest firmware and bring it on the screen if available. If it doesn’t then you will have to wait for some time in order to receive the latest software update.
