Huawei P40 Lite starts receiving EMUI 10.1 in Europe, comes with Multi-Window multitasking

Huawei has begun sending EMUI 10.1 for Huawei P30 and P30 Pro devices in Europe and along with this flagship lineup, the P40 Lite (4G) users also started grabbing this latest major upgrade.

According to the information, Huawei P40 Lite has started receiving EMUI 10.1 in Europe. Compared to the Huawei P30 series, the changelog comes with limited new features including Multi-window multitasking and a smaller software package.

It’s possible that Huawei may add more smart features with further updates. (Check the full changelog detailed below)

Note: This EMUI 10.1 rollout is still in early-stage and will expand gradually in different countries.

VERSIONS:

Huawei P40 lite EMUI 10.1 OTA comes with a software package of 1.5GB and has EMUI version 10.1.0.206.

This operating system, based on distributed technologies, enables you to seamlessly interact across devices and enjoy a diverse range of practical features in different scenarios. Install this update to facilitate a more intelligent life style.

Multi-Window:

Allows you to multitask with ease in Split-screen mode, and send messages using a floating window while watching videos or playing games. Swipe in from the left or right edge of the screen and pause to display the Multi-Window dock. Hold an app icon in the dock and drag it to the side of the screen to enter split-screen view, or touch an app icon to display it in a floating window.

Dark mode:

Added Dark Mode support for more third-party apps.

Privacy Compliance Certificate:

EMUI has obtained ISO/IEC 27701 certification.

Security:

Integrates Android security patches released in May 2020 for improved system security.

System performance:

Optimizes system stability for smoother performance.
