Huawei P30 and Mate 20 Series receiving March EMUI security update in China
Huawei P30 series followed by the Mate 20 devices are currently testing EMUI 10.1 beta in China. The latest version of EMUI brings new features such as MeeTime calling, Cross-Device Gallery, New 3D AOD, and more.
However, not all of the users of Huawei P30 and Mate 20 series has chosen to participate in the EMUI 10.1 beta. Therefore, they’re receiving a new EMUI update that improves their system security with the latest Android patches.

Security: Integrates Android security patches released in March 2020 for improved system security.
The March 2020 EMUI security includes Google security patches and fixes for 1 critical and 20 high levels of Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE).

EMUI VERSIONS:
Huawei P30 and P30 Pro receiving March EMUI security update with EMUI version 10.0.0.195 upgrading from 10.0.0.188.
On the other hand, Huawei Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, Mate 20 RS is also receiving and upgrading from the same versions as the P30 series. To be mentioned, this new EMUI version is required to upgrade to EMUI 10.1 public beta in China.
Meanwhile, users of Huawei P30 and P30 Pro can still upgrade to the latest version of EMUI 10 (Chinese models).
Note: This rollout is related to the Chinese models of Huawei P30 and the Mate 20 series.
How to update:
- Open Settings
- Click on ‘System & updates’
- Click on ‘Software update’
- Click on ‘CHECK FOR UPDATES’
- Click on ‘Download and install’
