Huawei P30 Lite now grabs October 2022 update
Huawei P30 Lite has still maintained its place in the quarterly firmware sections and currently, it’s receiving October 2022 security update. Interestingly, P30 Lite got September 2022 patch last month.
However, it seems like Huawei has decided to upgrade the version for some other users as the patch is still expanding among consumers.
According to the information, Huawei P30 Lite is receiving October 2022 security update with EMUI version 12.0.0.240. Note that the software is airing for smartphones with EMUI 12. If you haven’t already, we suggest you grab the EMUI 12 with new features.
As mentioned, Huawei P30 Lite’s latest firmware is released in batches, so it may take some time to reach all users. Meanwhile, you can check for the latest update via Settings and the instructions mentioned below.
EMUI 13:
Huawei is currently silent on EMUI 13, there is no announcement about this new EMUI version. Still, the Chinese tech maker is promoting it alongside the Huawei Mate 50 Pro in the global market.

You can grab this rollout by opening your phone’s Settings > scrolling down and opening System & updates and then tapping on Software updates, followed by CHECK FOR UPDATES. Alternatively, you can get it via the My Huawei app.
