Huawei P30 lite software update

Huawei is rolling out a new software update for the P30 Lite users in the global market. This update brings security improvements but on the other hand, my Huawei P30 Lite is still stuck on an old security patch.

Currently, the Huawei P30 Lite is scheduled to receive software updates in the quarterly section. This means the phone will receive software updates once in three months timespan. However, my device has not received an update since the last two quarters, which is absolutely insane.

According to the software section of the phone, it runs March 2021 security patch. However, there’s nothing once you open the software section and try to upgrade to the latest software. By judging this situation, I can say that this could be a regional rollout issue but there’s no information available in this regard.
