Huawei P30 Lite gets Huawei Assistant, Browser and April EMUI security in Europe

Huawei P30 lite users in Europe now receiving a new update that installs some of the latest smart features to this smartphone including Huawei Assistant, Huawei Browser, and the latest security patches.

Back in April, we reported that Huawei will upgrade its older smartphone with these features to increase the number of Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) app ecosystem.

In addition to these features, Huawei P30 lite also getting the Smart Charging, which helps to prevent battery aging problems.

What’s New in the Changelog:

Huawei Assistant: Huawei Assistant provides smart reminders, personalized news, and other content relevant to you. The assistant is accessible via the home screen.

Browser: Huawei Browser app provides you with a secure, convenient web browser and searching services.

Security: Integrates Android security patches released in April 2020 for improved system security.

Details:

Huawei Assistant: Just swipe right on the home screen to access Huawei Assistant (or left if you are using a bi-directional language). Huawei Assistant can’t be accessed directly from AppGallery.

Smart Charge: Preserve battery health by adapting to your charging routine. Charging may be paused to delay charging your device to 100% until needed.

Activate (default): Settings > Battery > More battery settings > Smart Charge.

April 2020 Security: April 2020 security update includes patches from Google and brings fixes to 5 critical, 12 high, and 1 medium level of Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE).

Huawei P30 lite receiving these latest set of features with EMUI version 10.0.0.197 and update the size of 1.09GB.
