Huawei P30 and P30 Pro devices are the faces of Huawei smartphones in the flagship range, as these are the most successful devices ever sold by the company. Million of Huawei P30 smartphone owners adore their design and camera system that create buzz among smartphone enthusiasts.

The power of the Kirin 970 processor and the quality of the display, all shape this 2019’s flagship as a beast incarnate. The specs aren’t the only aspects that symbolize the Huawei P30 series but also it’s software future that includes EMUI.

The phone comes with EMUI 9.1 out of the box and after a number of upgrades and updates, the phone Huawei P30 and P30 Pro now runs EMUI 11. On the other hand, Huawei has now confirmed that the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro are also eligible for the EMUI 12 upgrade. This is quite amazing news that were waiting for a long time.

However, the rollout of EMUI 12 for the Huawei P30 devices will start in 2022. Even though the time is long, it’s good to hear this famous Huawei smartphone will get a major software upgrade even after 3 years of the launch. Meanwhile, there’s no exact information available regarding the launch of EMUI 12 for the Huawei P30 models but we’ll keep you posted on further updates.

Meanwhile, in the Chinese market, Huawei P30 devices are running HarmonyOS and its latest features for at least two months. HarmonyOS has completely changed the look and feels of the Huawei P30 models and everyone seems to want to upgrade to this new OS before the announcement of EMUI 12.

Huawei will start to rollout EMUI 12 for the global models from the first half of 2022. Although, the company has not decided to put any official dates for specific models but a list for European devices could be different than other markets such as East Asia.
