Huawei P20 series stable EMUI 10 rollout to start this month

Huawei P20 and P20 Pro smartphones receiving stable EMUI 10 in China, and these models outside of China are registered for the EMUI 10/Android 10 beta but what about the stable release? Don’t worry, Huawei has sent some replies on this subject.

According to Huawei India, the EMUI 10 rollout for Huawei P20 Pro in mid-January, 2020 (via RPRNA).

“We would like to inform you that BETA Testing of Android 10 / EMUI 10.0 for Huawei P20 Pro device has been recently closed. We are at the final stages of releasing the software, the stable version of Android 10 Release can be expected by mid of January 2020” Huawei India.

Similarly, Huawei Germany has also announced the expected rollout date.

“The rollout of Android 10 for Huawei P20 series is scheduled to start in March. The rollout process can take upto 4 weeks.” Huawei Germany.

It’s also possible that Huawei may have announced dates for different countries but it seems like India will get the update earlier compared to other markets.

Via Settings:

1. Open Settings
2. Click on ‘System’
3. Click on ‘Software update’
4. Click on ‘CHECK FOR UPDATES’
5. Click on ‘Download and install’

Via HiCare:

1. Open HiCare app
2. Click on ‘Services’ tab
3. Click on ‘Update’
4. Click on ‘CHECK FOR UPDATES’
5. Click on ‘Download and install’
