Huawei P20 series on EMUI 9.1 receiving a huge October security patch
EMUI 10 beta program for Huawei P20 and P20 Pro is expanding in different countries, and the users that didn’t opt for the beta program are receiving a the latest update with new fixes and security enhancement.
The latest update for Huawei P20 and P20 Pro fixes an issue with network compatibility. Makes VoLTE and VoWiFi HD voice calling features available for certain network providers.
The update also integrates October 2019 security patch and applies fixes to 3 serious and 9 high levels of vulnerabilities found on Huawei/Honor smartphones.
Versions:
Huawei P20 and P20 Pro receiving this update with EMUI version 9.1.0.345 tagged with a jumbo size of over 4GB. On the other hand, some models are receiving the same fixes with version 9.1.0.335 and the September security.
Note: EMUI version and size may vary depending on the region/country.
You can check the update via instructions below:
Go to Settings > System > Software update > Check for Updates. If an update is available, it’ll ask if you want to download it.
