Huawei P20 and Mate 10 series gets Camera, Display optimizations with April 2023 upgrade
Huawei is rolling out April 2023 upgrade for the Huawei P20 and Mate 10 series smartphones in China and the company has various new optimizations for these two lineups along with Mate RS Porsche Design.
You should know that P20 and Mate 10 series currently testing HarmonyOS 3. Therefore, the tech maker is sending new beta builds for smartphones to prepare for the official release.
A week ago, Huawei officially announced a stable HarmonyOS 3 rollout for these two old flagships. So, we can come to the understanding that the stable patches may come soon to the beta testers. Still, there’s a large proportion of Huawei P20 and Mate 10 users that are waiting for the stable OTA rollout.
Huawei P20, Mate 10 April 2023 Upgrade:
Note that the current version progress is only related to the first batch of HarmonyOS 3 beta activity participants.
According to the details, the Huawei P20 series, Mate 10 series, and Mate RS Porsche Design are getting April 2023 upgrade with HarmonyOS 3 build 3.0.0.165. A few days ago, Huawei sent HarmonyOS 3.0.0.161 for the P20 devices non-log version and won’t require installing all of the upgrades with this new release. Moreover, the size of the package varies depending on log and nolog versions.
