Huawei P20 Lite/Nova 3e will get EMUI 9.0 update in July 2019
If you are expecting EMUI 9.0 update for the Huawei P20 Lite (aka Nova 3e) in April 2019 — well, it’s not going to happen.
According to Huawei, the company has postponed the release date of the EMUI 9.0 for the P20 Lite. Now, the device will get the Android 9 Pie-based EMUI 9.0 update in July 2019.

The reason for the delay is Huawei still “developing and testing” EMUI 9.0 for the device.
Here’s the official statement:
“We are currently developing and testing EMUI 9.0 (based on Android 9 Pie) for Huawei P20 Lite and you will be receiving the update in July 2019.”
