Huawei P20 Lite (EMUI 9.1) grabbing October 2021 security update
Huawei is sending a new software update for Huawei P20 Lite smartphones that brings the security patch released in October 2021. This latest firmware update improves the device system security against exploits and issues and fixes them.
According to the information, Huawei P20 Lite October 2021 update comes with EMUI 9.1 version 9.1.0.397. This update is rolling out among global consumers and cover all P20 Lite soon across the board.
Early this month, the company released the July 2021 security patch for Huawei P20 Lite users, and in a single month, this device is getting another security update. However, this is a really impressive behaviour of Huawei towards its old devices.

STEPS TO UPDATE YOUR DEVICE:
To manually download this update via mobile Settings– open Settings > click on the System > open Software update > tap on Check for updates option > (if an update is available) click on Download and install > after installation, restart the device.
Alternatively, you can download it via Support App – open Support app on your device > click on the Service tab > click on the update button> tap on Check for update option> (if an update is available) click on Download and install > after installation reboot the device.

Launched in March 2018, Huawei P20 Lite comes with a 5.84-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080×2280 pixels, powered by a Kirin 659 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB internal storage, 3000mAh battery with fast charging support.
In terms of software, this phone was initially unveiled with EMUI 8.0 based on Android 8.0. Huawei P20 Lite on the rear packs a 16-megapixel camera and has phase detection autofocus. It sports a 24-megapixel camera on the front for selfies.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, Bluetooth v4.20, NFC, USB Type-C, FM radio, 3G, 4G and more.
