Huawei P10 series getting new featured updates (HarmonyOS)
Even after 5 years of its launch, Huawei is sending new features for Huawei P10 and P10 Plus smartphones in China that run HarmonyOS operating system. According to the information, Huawei P10 and P10 Plus smartphones are getting firmware version – 2.0.0.150 upgrading from HarmonyOS 2.0.0.140.
HarmonyOS 2.0.0.150 upgrade for Huawei P10 series comes with new features and optimizations for display UI, games, anti-mistouch operating, new VOLTE feature for China mobile, getting audio playback for Bluetooth headphones. The update integrates February 2022 security patch for improved system security.
Huawei P10 series is powered by Kirin 960 processor with quad-core architecture including 2.4 GHz Cortex-A73 and quad-core 1.8 GHz Cortex-A53) with Mali-G71 MP8 GPU. The phone has a big battery and large display size and a dual rear camera as well as 8MP front-facing camera.
The phone is shipped with EMUI 8.0 based on Android 8 and it is upgraded with subsequent EMUI versions.
Rolling out in China:
The latest Huawei P10 series update is currently rolling out in China but currently, it’s not confirmed to expand to the global market. On the other hand, the global version is not eligible for EMUI 12 software update.

Huawei P10 series users can download and install the latest software update by going into Settings > then head towards System & updates > from here tap on the Software update and then CHECK FOR UPDATES. From here, tap on the following instructions to get this update onboard.
However, we suggest the Huawei P10 series users with HarmonyOS back up their smartphone’s data before heading towards the new software update.
