The P10 Lite was launched in 2017, the smartphone comes equipped with a 5.2-inch display, Kirin 658, 3000mAh battery, and more. From the software side this phone packs with EMUI 5.1 based on Android 7. Later, the company upgrades its software version up to EMUI 8.
The new firmware is identified as EMUI 8.0 version 8.0.0.361 from EMUI 8.0.0.359. As usual, it’s a staged rollout and may take time to cover each and every device. It brings optimizations for the smart search function alongside January 2021 security patch.
Things to note, that this rollout is currently limited to Chinese models and may take time to expand among global consumers.

Things to remember before moving to upgrade
- Make sure your smartphone is not rooted.
- Take a backup of your important data, just in case.
- Maintain enough battery on your device.
- It’s a staged rollout and may take time to arrive on your device.
