Huawei continues to optimize the upcoming Mate 70 series for better software and hardware as the launch is possibly pushed to November.

Earlier this week, Huawei introduced the Mate XT triple foldable phone with a 10-inch panel. The device is unique and well-designed by the company at home by Huawei.

Prior to this release, Mate 70 was expected to be unveiled in September to compete against the iPhone 16. However, Mate XT replaced Mate 70 and was promoted as an innovation. It will be on the promotion throughout October and create new sales momentum for the tech maker.

On the other hand, it will also expand the time window for optimizations and testing for the new smartphone models.

Recently, a Weibo tipster revealed that Huawei is working on numerous software and hardware aspects of the Mate 70.

To be mentioned, Huawei started a Pioneer program for the Mate 60 series in late August 2023. It unveiled the device entirely and served the device to early buyers.

This was the first time Huawei sold its flagship prior to an official conference. Despite that, the phone made an official debut in September.

The Mate 60 series launch remains one of the most trending topics on the internet especially for its unknown chipset. There are various teardowns and speculation circulated online.

The major topic of discussion focused on the Kirin chipset processed by China’s SMIC and designed by Huawei’s HiSilicon. However, none of these reports and theories are officially confirmed.

These speculations are hot again as Huawei is chasing another major launch to close this year. The Mate 70 series is likely to bring new features onboard with a new HarmonyOS version.

In that case, a new or improved chipset is likely to power the new Mate devices. Furthermore, Huawei will upgrade camera technologies, rear material, and display quality for a better customer experience.

More information about the Huawei Mate 70 series is yet to arrive.
