Huawei opens Spark Ignite 2022 competition for start-ups in Thailand

Huawei has recently launched the new Spark Ignite 2022 competition in Thailand. The company has taken this initiative for the fresh minds that are looking forward to new start-ups in the region. To provide a broader spectrum of innovative ideas, the Chinese manufacturer brought the contest to the Thai consumers.

Notably, with the Spark Ignite 2022 competition, Huawei is also trying to keep its words in front of Thailand. So far, the Chinese tech giant has promised that it will strongly support the country in becoming the Digital Hub of ASEAN. And the significant way for doing so is by promoting digital talent across the region.

Describing the merits of the Spark contest, the CEO of Huawei Thailand, Abel Deng kept the following statements to the individuals:

“Huawei believes that the key to driving sustainable digital development lies in a thriving SME and start-up ecosystem. Innovation never stops, and neither will our commitment to supporting Thailand’s digital ecosystem. Looking into the future, we remain committed to cultivating SMEs in Thailand through the Spark Program which we hope will ignite the potential of Thai start-ups and help Thailand become a Digital Hub for the ASEAN region.”

Spark Ignite 2022 – Details

The reflective contest is open to all individuals who want to extend their lines of limits and achieve their start-up dream. Alongside, Huawei is also providing some acknowledging benefits to the participants. For instance, ICT technology learnings, capital resources, and tutorials on how to perceive a startup.

Besides, there are exciting prizes for the winners and runner-ups. As per the information, the winner of this contest will get an amount of $40,000 US in cash. Next, the respective individual will receive $125,000 US in the Huawei cloud. They also gain the opportunity to bring their products and company onto the global platform.

Moreover, they will attain a position in the Top 50 Global Startups of the SLINGSHOT 2022 competition, as part of the SLINGSHOT x SWITCH event.
