Huawei officially teases Mate X6 foldable for global consumers

Today, Huawei officially teases the all-new Mate X6 foldable for its global customers. The company has dropped new images of the folding device on its X page. All the pictures flaunt the rear design and camera module of the flagship product.

Huawei has confirmed to host a global launch event next week. The Chinese phone maker is ready to welcome its high-end Mate products on the global platform.

Now the company officially teases Huawei Mate X6 foldable, confirming it for the global launch. The tech giant shared four images of the device, showing two main colors: Cosmic Red and Nebula Gray. The caption of the teaser reads:

“The ultimate foldable experience, taken to the next level. #HuaweiLaunch #FashionForward #UnfoldtheClassic”

Looking into the images, the Nebula Gray shade adopts a marble-like feel on the glass panel. Meanwhile, the Red shade resembles the Mate XT plain-leather design.

Huawei has significantly worked on the display and design of the Mate X6 this time. The internal and external screens are bigger while the overall body structure is thinner than the previous-gen model. It will surely give a comfortable feel to your hands.

The star-ring camera design on the rear side is another eye-catching part of this foldable. Huawei has integrated four camera sensors on the new Mate X6 this time.

It includes a 50MP primary shooter with OIS and RYYB capabilities, a 40MP ultrawide-angle (RYYB), a 48MP telephoto macro lens, and a 1.5MP multi-spectral sensor that increases the color restoration accuracy and offers more realistic shots.

Huawei Mate X6 debuted with HarmonyOS NEXT in China. But as a global device, the company would have surely made some changes to this foldable. In that case, it will be interesting to see what upgrades the foldable will bring to the overseas market.
