Huawei Nova Flip foldable spotted in live images ahead of launch

Huawei Nova Flip will launch on August 5 and ahead of that, a bunch of live images surfaced online revealing the amazing aesthetics of the new foldable. These visuals of the phone focus on the overall appearance and showcase the ‘Zero White’ color.

A netizen named “ChinChin” has shared a set of Huawei Nova Flip live images on the social media platform. Even though the official look of the handset is already out, new images reveal the device in a more clear and detailed perspective.

Starting from the back, the device has two halves. The first one shows a rectangular shape on the upper side with a silver rim. It houses a square cover screen with round edges and two vertically arranged lens rings. The cover screen is larger than Pocket 2.

Beneath the lens, there is a tiny LED Flash. The second half of the rear side shows a silver-colored Nova and Huawei logo. Nova Flip has a more rounded body than its predecessor. It further holds a side-mounted fingerprint sensor power button (two-in-one key) and volume rockers on one side.

Images by ChinChin mainly highlight the rear side of the device. Two camera rings, a giant cover screen, a glossy back panel, a rounded body structure, and a clean look are the major aspects. However, we also got our hands on the front look.

Another netizen @NoviceEvaluation also dropped some live images of the Nova Flip foldable on Weibo. These real shots reflect all four colors, impressive front, and back look, as well as, a sneak into the pre-installed software system.

The four new shades look more elegant in real images. The front side has a single punch-hole design to capture beautiful portraits. It equips a flat screen with thin bezels around the display panel. The cover screen has a 480 x 480 pixels resolution (2.1-inch screen) whereas the main screen exhibits a 2690 x 1136 pixels resolution.

Nova Flip pre-installs HarmonyOS 4.2 version. Although it might carry some new features over other folding phones. For instance, the all-new Call-Emoji feature.

In conclusion, both the front and the rear side of the Nova Flip foldable look way better in live images than in the official press render. More details will unveil on August 5 at 19:00, during the official launch event.
