Huawei Nova 9 series to launch after August, could be identical to Honor 50
Last year, Huawei unveiled the latest member of the Nova series – Huawei Nova 8. This lineup consists of Nova 8, Nova 8 Pro, and Nova 8 SE devices.
As we’re moving in the second half of this year, Huawei is now preparing to unveil the next Nova device – Nova 9. Under the current circumstances, Huawei has to face some hurdles in the supply chain to make this smartphone.
According to the information coming from Weibo tipster – DigitalJun, Huawei will launch the Huawei Nova 9 series in the second half this year, which is expected to be somewhere between August to October.
Optimized Design:
Another Weibo tipster suggested that the specs of the upcoming Huawei Nova 9 lineup will be the same as the recently launched Honor 50 and nearly identical to the last year’s Huawei Nova 8 Pro.
The tipster mentioned that the Nova 9 models won’t support 5G connectivity, which is a big bummer. However, due to the current chip supply restrictions, Huawei cannot purchase new chipset nor it can make new ones, specifically for the flagship smartphones.
To be mentioned, this is not the first time, when Huawei will unveil a 4G phone to compete against the 5G phone-enabled phones. As the company has already unveiled Huawei Nova 8 Pro with 5G and recently, the same phone got reintroduced with a 4G chipset.
There’s more information that will appear on this matter and we’ll keep you posted.
