Huawei Nova 9 receives August 2023 EMUI update

Huawei Nova 9 is receiving a new software update with August 2023 security patches, which improves the phone’s safety. The latest software comes with a firmware version 12.0.1.302 and it’s upgrading from EMUI 12.0.1.295.

Aside from the August 2023 security patches, there are no other features mentioned in the Huawei Nova 9 update changelog. However, you should get this software as soon as it pops up in the notification panel.

Huawei Nova 9 users are also waiting for the next major software update. According to the upgrade plan, the phone is scheduled to receive EMUI 13 in October.

Until then, you can check for the latest software update via System settings, followed by the System & updates. This rollout occurs in batches and may take some time to reach all of the users.
