Huawei Nova 8 smartphone began collecting April 2021 security update
Early this month, Huawei began the second wave of HarmonyOS 2.0 public developer beta testing in which it opens the testing slots for mid-range smartphones from Nova 6, Nova 7, and Nova 8 series.
To date, Huawei released three beta software updates that bring new changes to the user interface and made it more impressive and user-friendly.
Furthermore, Huawei is set to launch HarmonyOS 2.0 for general smartphone users on June 2. According to the information, the first batch of public beta testing also includes the Nova 8 series along with Mate Xs, Mate 20, and more.

On the other hand, Huawei has started sending a new software update for the Nova 8 smartphone. This update prioritizes the installation of the security patch released in April 2021 for improved system security.
Alongside fixing different levels of exploits and issues, this security patch also resolves the hidden privacy issues found in the last security improvements because they can harm the user’s data.
