Huawei Nova 8 series installs November 2021 software update [CN]

Huawei Nova 8 series smartphones have started receiving a new HarmonyOS 2.0 software update that installs the latest security patch released in November 2021 for improved system security. The Chinese tech giant is installing the November 2021 update to improve the Huawei Nova 8 series devices.

On the other hand, the global variant of Nova 8 was launched with EMUI 12 operating system, which is inspired by HarmonyOS. According to the information, this new firmware update comes with HarmonyOS version 2.0.0.211 in the Chinese market.

• Huawei Nova 8
• Huawei Nova 8 Pro 4G
• Huawei Nova 8 Pro 5G

• Version: Huawei Nova 8 series smartphones receiving HarmonyOS 2.0 version 2.0.0.211 upgraded from 2.0.0.209.
• Changelog: Installs the security patch released in October 2021 for improved system security.

HOW TO INSTALL:

To download this update manually, go to Settings then System & updates, then open Software update, from here select Check for updates. If an update is available it’ll pop up on your phone and an option of Download and install will appear. Press the option and start to download.

Alternatively, you can also request software updates through the Support app. To do this, open the Support app, go to the Service tab on the bottom bar, tap on the update, then select Check for updates and then download and install.
