Huawei Nova 7 Series launched with Waterfall Display, Kirin 985, EMUI 10.1, 64MP Quad Camera including Periscope Lens and more
On April 23, Huawei added a new set of members in its Nova lineup calling it Huawei Nova 7 series, which comprises three models – Huawei Nova 7, Nova 7 Pro, and Nova 7 SE.
Let’s take a look at these newest editions of Huawei Nova smartphones.
Display:
The Huawei Nova 7 Pro is the first Nova phone to sport a 70-degree curved edge waterfall 6.57-inch OLED display certified by TUV Rheinland with pill type hole punch to house two cameras. While the Huawei Nova 7 (6.53-inch OLED) and Nova 7 SE (6.5-inch LCD) come with a flat-panel screen with a single punch-hole design.
Camera:
On the rear side, Huawei Nova 7, 7 Pro, and 7 SE have a vertically placed 64MP quad-camera setup consisting of a 120-degree ultra-wide-angle, a telephoto zoom camera, and a macro camera.
However, only Huawei Nova 7 Pro has a Periscope lens that supports up to 50X zoom with optical image stabilization.
For selfies, Huawei Nova 7 Pro has two cameras including 32MP selfie + 8MP Ultra wide-angle camera to capture all in one portrait. On the other hand, Huawei Nova 7 and 7 SE have only a 32MP camera.
The Huawei Nova 7 series supports AIS super night scene 3.0 to take bright selfies in low light conditions.
Performance:
Huawei Nova 7 series equips with full 5G support provided by Kirin 985 5G and Kirin 820 5G chipset. As well as NSA/SA 5G dual-mode network architecture. Kirin 985 also improves link and provides faster and more stable network coverage and transmission. It consumes the lowest amount of power to help to increase battery life.
Battery and Software:
All three of these phones have a maximum 4000mAh capacity battery with 40W of super fast charging.
The software ecosystem of this phone series derives from the latest EMUI 10.1, which is built upon the foundation distributed technology. Introducing new features such as Huawei MeeTime, Multi-screen Collaboration capabilities, one touch screen projection, dynamic themes, and more.
Design:
The design of the Huawei Nova 7 series has some crucial specialty including its lightweight design and only 7.98mm thickness.
On the backside, Huawei Nova 7 and 7 Pro has a curved glass with color options of Vermilion Red, Midsummer Purple, Forest Green, Silver, and Bright Black. Huawei Nova 7 SE comes in Forest Green, Midsummer Purple, Night Black, and White.
In-display fingerprint and Colorful Always On Display:
Another interesting feature of the Huawei nova 7 Pro and Nova 7 includes the in-display fingerprint sensor and the new set of Always-on Display (AOD) feature to keep you informed with color full clock styles when that screen is inactive. The Nova 7 SE has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
