Huawei Nova 5T with EMUI 11 receiving a new software update that comes with July 2021 security patch. That improves system security to safe-keep your Nova 5T smartphone against various data and privacy threats.

According to the global EMUI rollout plan, Huawei has already concluded the EMUI 11 release for Huawei Nova 5T. Now, the owners have something else in mind and they want a new major upgrade. Most of the users of this device mailed us and asked for HarmonyOS eligibility.

According to the changelog, Huawei Nova 5T July 2021 update comes with EMUI 11 version 11.0.0.172 and an upgrade package size of 187MB. However, these sections of the update may have minor changes, once it expands in different markets.

The update aims to improve system security by fixing bugs and system stability issues via July 2021 security patches. According to the security bulletin, this update fixes 21 high and 28 medium levels of Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE).

  4. Check for updates
  5. Download and install

Once downloaded, you’ll require to tap on the Install. Afterward, the device will restart and began the installation procedure.

This rollout will expand gradually in a staged manner and you need to keep patience to get it on your Huawei Nova 5T smartphone.
