Huawei Nova 5T receiving the EMUI 11 beta in South East Asia
Back in December, Huawei started enrolling the Huawei Nova 5T for EMUI 11 beta testing in South East Asia. Now, the company has kicked off the first EMUI 11 beta version for Nova 5T registered users to test the new EMUI 11 beta features.
Moreover, Huawei has already expanded the EMUI 11 beta program for Nova 5T users in more regions including Europe and the UK. According to the official EMUI 11 rollout schedule, global Nova 5T users will receive the stable EMUI 11 in the first quarter of 2021.

On the other hand, Huawei has released the November 2020 security update for Huawei Nova 5T users running on EMUI 10.1. This update mainly improves system security by fixing the different levels of exploits and issues.

What’s New:
This update brings the new EMUI 11 features including smarts always-on-display (AOD), multi-window, smoother animation, subtle effects, MeeTime, super notepad, system translation, lasting smoothness, undisturbed screen protection, and much more
HOW TO UPDATE:
To download this update manually, go to Settings then System & updates, then open Software update, from here select Check for updates. If an update is available it’ll pop-up on your phone and an option of Download and install will appear. Press the option and start to download.
Alternatively, you can also request software updates through the Support app. To do this, open the Support app, go to the Service tab on the bottom bar, tap on the update, then select Check for updates and then download and install.
Remember:
- This update is currently rolling out in South East Asia.
- The update is rolling out in batches so it may take some time/days to reach your device.
- The update will not erase any data.
