Huawei Nova 5T is receiving September 2022 firmware in Europe

Earlier this month, Huawei started to roll out a new software update for the Nova 5T smartphone, we thought that it would bring October 2022 security patch but actually, it brought September’s. Adding to this, the September 2022 firmware is now rolling out in Europe for Huawei Nova 5T users.

As reported by Huaweiblog, Huawei Nova 5T Europe users can download the September 2022 firmware with the EMUI version 12.0.0.158. You can download this software package size of 199 megabytes.

We recommend getting this latest firmware to secure your Nova 5T smartphone and improve the phone’s stability aspects. Do remember that this is a staged rollout and expanding gradually among Nova 5T owners in Europe.

Meanwhile, you can keep on checking the software update section, which you can access via Settings > then tap on the System & updates section, followed by the Software updates section. From here you need to follow the on-screen instruction to get it installed on your device. On the flip side, you can get this software update via the My Huawei app.

To be mentioned we’ve not found any other specific changes in the firmware update but we do found some safety notes. These suggest you back up important data, charge your device properly to support the installation procedure and manage storage to download and store the OTA package.
