Huawei Nova 3i receiving October 2020 security update
Huawei has begun sending new software update for Huawei Nova 3i, which brings a new security patch released in October 2020 that enhances the system security.
Huawei Nova 3i getting an EMUI 9.1 update with version 9.1.0.326 in Europe with an update size of 121MB.
Aside from this, Huawei is testing its device for the latest OS skin, EMUI 11. Still, Huawei is sending the security patch for its old devices but, the company has not provided EMUI 10 for the nova 3 and 3i smartphones and these phones are still running on EMUI 9.1.

- Installs October 2020 security patch that improves system security and fixes the different levels of exploits and issues including 21 high-levels and 1 medium level of CVE’s.

- The update is rolling out in batches so it may take some time/days to reach your device.
- The update will not erase any data.
HOW TO UPDATE:
To download this update manually, go to Settings then System, then open Software update, from here select Check for updates. If an update is available it’ll pop-up on your phone and an option of Download and install will appear. Press the option and start to download.
Alternatively, you can also request software updates through the Support app. To do this, open the Support app, go to the Service tab on the bottom bar, tap on the update, then select Check for updates and then download and install.
