Huawei is now expanding the July 2020 security update for Huawei Nova 3i in the Middle East.

Earlier this month, Huawei rolled out a new update for Huawei Nova 3i and now the phone receiving another software update. This latest firmware for the device brings security patches, released in July 2020.

Huawei Nova 3i along with Nova 3 received June security update in different markets. Nova 3i in particular got smart features including Huawei Assistant and Smart Charge.

Security: Integrated Android security patches released in July 2020 for improved system security.

July 2020 Security Patch Details:

The July 2020 security update installs Android patches from Huawei and Google, fixing different levels of exploits and issues within Huawei phones including 5 critical and 9 high levels of CVEs. There is no Medium and Low level of CVEs found.

SOFTWARE VERSION:

Huawei Nova 3i receiving July 2020 security update with EMUI 9.1 version 9.1.0.315 and package size of 111MB. The update is confirmed to rollout in the Southeast Asia region and will expand to more regions gradually.
