Huawei Nova 2s gets December 2021 HarmonyOS software update

Huawei is sending a new HarmonyOS update for Huawei Nova 2s smartphone users that brings the December 2021 security patch along with other optimizations and fixes. This update enhances the overall performance and security of the device.

According to the information, the Huawei Nova 2s December 2021 update comes with the HarmonyOS version 2.0.0.140, which is upgraded from 2.0.0.125. The changelog reveals that this update optimizes sound effects, unlocking experience, contact display interface, and adds icon magnification.

In addition to this, the new HM OS update also fixes the problem of logging into Huawei ID in some scenarios. For improved system security, it installs the December 2021 security patch that protects the device against threats.
