Huawei Nova 13i appeared on NBTC and TUV certification database

Huawei has just launched the long-awaited Mate 70 series flagship while a new device has started sneaking from the curtain – Nova 13i. The phone has recently appeared on some global certification databases, hinting at its launch around corners.

The Chinese phone maker has unveiled the Nova 13 series on its home turf. The lineup includes two models: Standard and Pro with new AI features and key specs.

It seems the company is planning to unveil the high-end smartphone series in the global market. Huawei has seemingly listed the Nova 13i phone on NBTC, TUV, and EEC certification sites for sales approval in different markets worldwide.

NBTC certification is a necessary approval process to sell radio equipment or devices in Thailand. TUV certification is important for Germany whereas, the EEC certificate is for the European Union. Nova 13i has appeared in all these certificates.

The NBTC certificate shows that the Nova 13i smartphone has the model number CTR-L91. It will support 4G LTE connectivity and won’t be much water resistant.

Apart from these details, the certifications don’t reveal any other info about the new device. Although Nova 13i could adopt the Nova 13/Pro design and a few of its functionalities. Things will get more clear on this matter in the upcoming days.

Huawei Nova 12i

Nova 12i features a 6.7-inch IPS LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, 1080 x 2388 pixels resolution, and 391 PPI. It comes out of the box with EMUI 14 and equips a Snapdragon 680 4G chipset, paired with the Adreno 610 GPU.

The device sports a dual-camera system on the back with a 108MP primary shooter and a 2MP depth sensor. The front face holds an 8MP selfie lens with many shooting modes. Nova 12i packs a 5000mAh battery with 40W wired charging support.
