Huawei Nova 13 series tipped to launch in September
Huawei Nova 13 series launch has been a mystery for a while but it seems the company could resolve it in September. A new leak says that the upcoming Nova series may release next month, probably with pre-installed HarmonyOS NEXT.
The Nova 13 series was in rumors to launch in June this year. However, a few unknown reasons delayed the release for an indefinite time. Now the latest input claims that we might see the official glimpse of new Nova handsets next month.
Tipster @FixedFocus states Huawei dealers might begin selling the Nova 13 series in September. The wait for new Nova devices will likely end in the coming weeks.
With a new launch time, many netizens expected to see all new Nova 13 handsets with the HarmonyOS NEXT out of the box. If true, it will be the first product in the Nova gallery to experience the company’s self-developed OS and its amazing features.
Although this news is yet to be confirmed. During the HDC 2024 event, the Huawei Consumer Business Group Chairman – Yu Chengdong said that the Mate 70 series smartphones will be the first to pre-install the stable HarmonyoS NEXT version.
Being a mid-range lineup, it is unlikely that the Nova 13 series will land on the ground with HarmonyOS NEXT. Hence, it’s better to take this input with a grain of salt for now.
Expected Specifications:
Huawei will integrate various new features into the Nova 13 handsets. The list counts upgraded satellite functions for high-end variants, a significant change in design, a better imaging system, as well as a solid basalt coating to make the device tougher.
Other useful capabilities include 5G support, a 1.5K resolution display with the same dual front camera setup as the predecessor, and the alleged Kirin 9010 5G chipset.
Unlike the previous-gen models, all Nova 13 variants will support the 5G network for seamless connectivity. If the launch time is accurate, we may grab an official teaser of the device in the coming weeks.
