Huawei Nova 13 series expected to launch on October 22
Huawei Nova 13 series is expected to launch next month and a new leak adds a speculated time to this matter – October 22. The latest information is quite in line with some previous revelations about the upcoming high-end smartphone lineup.
UncleKanshan notes that Huawei opened the Nova 12 series price drop event at the official VMall. All four models including the Lite variant are available at a certain discount in this event. This promotion will likely remain valid till October 20, 2024.
Judging from the dates and the previous launch patterns, the tipster says that Huawei could launch the Nova 13 series on October 22 (Tuesday).
Here’s why this date could be a pick:
The Chinese phone maker launched most of its new products on Tuesday in China. Whether we look at the world’s first tri-fold handset (September 10, Tuesday) or the recently launched Huawei Watch GT 5 series wearable (September 24, Tuesday).
Also, the company unveiled the Nova 12 series in China on December 26, again a Tuesday. Thus, we can expect that after the Chinese National holidays, the tech giant may showcase the next-gen Nova models on October 22, 2024.
Some previous inputs said that the Nova 13 will likely launch in mid-October. Now we have an expected date on this matter. But Huawei hasn’t confirmed this news yet.
The Nova 13 series will likely bring three models (Standard, Pro, and Ultra). Although the company may also introduce the Lite Edition on the same stage.
A recent leak suggested that the standard Nova 13 may offer four color variants: Black, Green, Purple, and White. It may also sport a similar camera framework as the Nova 12 vanilla variant: a 60MP selfie shooter and a 50MP rear main camera.
Other expected key specs of the device are a Kirin 9010 5G chipset, probably for all the models. Unlike its predecessors, the company will likely offer the 5G capability to all Nova 13 handsets. The rest of the details are a secret but we may grab them in the coming days.
