Huawei Nova 12s phone (FOA-LX9) appears on IMEI database
Huawei is readying new Nova products for its global consumers and in the meantime, the Nova 12s smartphone with model number FOA-LX9 has appeared on the IMEI database, hinting that a brand-new device is coming soon to the surface.
IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) website contains basic information and the unique serial numbers of devices like smartphones, laptop data cards, and more. These details are further made available to network operators worldwide.
The Huawei Nova 12s handset has been spotted on the IMEI database, revealing a few details regarding its specifications. Besides, the new S-tagged device seems to be a rebranded version of the standard Huawei Nova 11 smartphone.
Notably, the model number FOA-LX9 belongs to Nova 11. Thus, we can assume that the new Nova 12s could be similar to its predecessors. Yet, the company may impose some fresh upgrades and functionalities on this product in the coming days.
Huawei Nova 12s Teaser
It is worth mentioning that the tech giant has also shared a new teaser on the official X @HuaweiMobile page for the Huawei Nova 12s. Even though the post doesn’t reflect any details, it highlights a similar appearance to the Nova 12 Lite (Chinese version).

Huawei Nova 11:
Launched in April 2023, the base version features a 6.7-inch OLED with 1084 x 2412 pixels resolution and 391 PPI. It also wears a Kunlun Glass for effective drop-resistance capabilities. Ahead, the device equips an octa-core Snapdragon 778G chipset with an Adreno 642L GPU.
The device lands on the ground with a dual camera setup at the backend featuring a 50MP primary shooter and an 8MP ultrawide snapper. On the front side, there is a 60MP ultrawide selfie lens for impressive portraits.
