Huawei Nova 12 series launching on December 26, check the first look here

Huawei today officially confirmed that the new Huawei Nova 12 series will launch on December 26 and the company also shared the design of this upcoming Nova lineup.

According to the promo image, the Huawei Nova 12 has a new camera bump. The surface is wide and the entire design ID appears seamless.

A ring highlight on top consists of two cameras and an LED flash with the third camera at the bottom. The labels on the camera bump show that the phone has a 50MP RYYB sensor for photography. The new blue color with that Nova marking all over the background is eye-catching.

Pioneer Project:

Alongside this announcement, Huawei also said that Huawei Nova 12 will land under the “Pioneer Project”. It means that the phone will be available to purchase online and offline before the launch day.

Huawei initially began the Pioneer Program with the Huawei Mate 60 Pro flagship. With such a service, consumers can buy a new phone without waiting for the launch date.

Huawei Nova 12:

According to the past information, the Huawei Nova 12 series will come in three variants including a standard, a Pro, and an Ultra. The latter two are likely to feature 5G functionality and the standard version may continue the 4G.

All three of these devices will run the HarmonyOS 4 operating system out of the box. This new software has new features including better personalization for themes, a lock screen, and added new customization options.

HarmonyOS 4 also has unique capabilities such as a live window feature, which shows the ongoing status of any live activity such as food order, timer, and more.

Other than the first two models, Huawei Nova 12 Ultra could surprise us with a few more offerings such as the variable aperture camera.

Huawei Nova 12 series may also bring a larger battery than its predecessor making it a perfect companion for long use cases.

Meanwhile, the pioneer project would reveal some new interesting facts about the Huawei Nova 12 series ahead of the official unveiling on December 26.
