Huawei Nova 11i users are getting July 2024 EMUI security patch

Huawei is rolling out the July 2024 security patch for the Nova 11i users. After the major EMUI 14.2 treatment, the company is offering the latest security optimizations to Nova 11i. This firmware improves the device’s security, making it more stable.

It’s good to see back-to-back updates for the Nova 11i smartphone. With EMUI 14.2, the company offered a list of useful features to the respective device. The changelog includes impressive themes as well as immersive weather and emoji wallpapers.

Now Huawei is treating the security system of the Nova 11i device with the July 2024 security patch. The firmware is rolling out with the EMUI 14.2.0.146 version and a medium-sized downloadable package of 399 Megabytes.

Unlike the previous version with a big changelog, this update only holds a new security patch released in July 2024. Although this addition has its own benefits. It targets hidden privacy exploits and eliminates other vulnerabilities in the smartphone.
