Huawei Nova 11 series welcomes July 2024 EMUI security update
Huawei Nova 11 series smartphones are receiving the newest July 2024 update. After the EMUI 14.2 offering, the company is now treating these handsets with fresh security improvements and common bug fixes for a durable user experience.
EMUI July 2024 update for Huawei Nova 11 series users is rolling out with the 14.2.0.145 build version. The respective phone owners need to download a 350MB software package to grab the latest enhancements for their Nova 11 handsets.
The changelog doesn’t count any major features or optimizations for the device. Yet it shows the presence of the July 2024 patch that erases annoying bugs from the core system. It adds an extra layer of security to protect data against privacy exploits.
Other than that, users may also observe improved performance and stability aspects after the installation. The update may further remove system glitches that affect the usability of the device and increase its potential to fight against harmful malware.

This firmware won’t delete your data but we suggest taking a backup beforehand to prevent any loss. Also, keep at least 50% battery and use a standard internet medium to carry out an interruption-free download procedure on your smartphone.
EMUI 14 for other Nova handsets?
The Nova 10 series has picked HarmonyOS 4.2 upgraded in China. But global users are still eyeing a major software version – EMUI 14.2. That also raises questions if other Nova models will receive a huge EMUI software upgrade in the time ahead.
Huawei Nova 10 series came out of the box with EMUI 12 (HarmonyOS 2.0 in China). While the company upgraded the global units to EMUI 13, the Chinese variants benefitted from HarmonyOS 4.2. Thus, users expect the new rollout in global regions as well.
