Huawei Nova 10 series July 2024 patch

Huawei Nova 10 series smartphone users started receiving the July 2024 security patch. The new update contains the latest bug fixes and useful improvements for the device’s performance. It looks after system glitches and makes the phone reliable.

Nova 10 series has recently gained the major HarmonyOS 4.2 update with immersive themes and some other productive features. The company has also added significant privacy tools that protect users’ data from malicious applications.

As of now, Huawei is treating the Nova 10 series with the July 2024 security update. The company is releasing the new firmware with HarmonyOS version 4.2.0.142 and a medium-sized software package that weighs 460 Megabytes.

The changelog only has new security patches released this month. Other than that, there aren’t any notable additions to the device. Yet, the phone owners will observe a bug-free and more stable functioning after installing the newest build.

Huawei Nova 10 series has gained the HarmonyOS 4.2 benefits. The device came out of the box with HarmonyOS 2.0 and obtained many new upgrades. But whether this brilliant lineup will get the HarmonyOS NEXT upgrade is still a big question.

Moreover, global Nova 10 users are also looking for a major software treatment, just like the Chinese variants. The tech giant hasn’t shared EMUI 14.2 “phase 2” roadmap yet. Hence, it’s unclear if the device will receive new software offerings globally.

HarmonyOS NEXT developer beta 2 is live for the top flagship models. As per reports, the company could release the first consumer beta next month. Thus, we can expect to hear more details about the HarmonyOS NEXT eligibility criteria for Huawei devices.
