Huawei Nova 10 series grabs EMUI 12 December 2022 update
Huawei is rolling out a new software update for the Nova 10 and Nova 10 Pro smartphones, which improves the phone with December 2022 EMUI security patch.
Huawei Nova 10 and Nova 10 Pro are receiving December 2022 security update with EMUI 12 version 12.0.1.175. The phone is getting this version with update package size of 329 megabytes.
As usual, the update is rolling out in batches and it’s suggested that you grab this new firmware as soon as it appears on your smartphone. Note that this security patch fixes several bugs and security issues in your Huawei smartphone including kernel and data.
If you don’t receive an update notification, make sure to check the update via Settings including System & updates > Software update > check for the latest software update from here. On the other side, the My Huawei app will also let you fetch a new software upgrade.
EMUI 13:
Huawei Nova 10 and Nova 10 Pro features EMUI 12 out of the box and these phones are one of the first in line to upgrade over the EMUI 13 software. However, phone users are still waiting for an official announcement, which may come very soon.
EMUI 13 brings a number of new features such as smart folders with new layout options to organize mobile apps on the home screen. On the other hand, Huawei will bring service widgets for instant information. On the other hand, the software lets you improve the security and privacy settings.
The missing part of EMUI now completes with EMUI 13’s swipe-up gestures. This will let you swipe up on the app icon to open key app features.
Huawei Nova 10 and 10 Pro:
Huawei Nova 10 brings a 6.88mm ultra-thin design, and a 60MP front-facing camera inside the center hole punch display design. The 50MP ultra vision photography.
On the other hand, Huawei Nova 10 Pro sports a dual 60MP front-facing autofocus camera, a star orbit ring rear camera design, and a robust super fast 100W charger.
