Huawei Notes app testing new changes with 12.4.2.273 beta update
Huawei is testing a new beta update with the 12.4.2.273 version of the Notes app. The company is exploring some more new features and better changes that can make the app experience more efficient and convenient for its device owners.
The Chinese phone maker has recently rolled out a stable update to the Notes app with various new capabilities. For instance, new templates, a one-tap gesture for certain tasks, support for importing pictures as fun stickers, dark mode, and more.
Now Huawei has started another closed beta activity for the Notes app with the 12.4.2.273 update. It brings a new input method and features to enhance the handwriting experience. Users will also find an AI multi-voice transcription tool.
From the name, the feature will possibly convert the spoken content into written text from a meeting or event, where participants speak in multiple languages.
To grab the latest update, you have to enroll in the app’s closed beta pool. Users can enter the Member Center app and follow online steps to sign up in the beta activity. In the meantime, Huawei phone users can check the changelog below.

- Added AI Pinyin Association feature. Users can input Pinyin and automatically link it to input Chinese characters.
- Added AI handwriting edition feature. Long press handwritten text to provide text editing experience.
- Added AI multi-person voice transcription. It easily differentiates between speakers and makes voice transcription clearer.
- Supports various stickers and lossless stretching of stickers.

- This update is a trial version of new features and focuses on basic features functioning in different scenarios.
- HMW does not support new features.
- PAD applies to all the above-listed changes.
