Huawei might unveil Watch D2 wearable this month
Huawei allegedly has a bunch of products to launch by the end of this month and one of these could be Watch D2 wearable. A new input hints that the company could add a second-generation blood-pressure smartwatch to its shelves in the coming days.
Weibo tipster @UncleKanshan says that Huawei could skip the Sound Joy 2, X4 speakers, and the Wi-Fi BE-7 router for the July 2024 new product launch conference.
Users looking for new speakers or a Wi-Fi router might have to wait a little longer. Although the good news is that the company could introduce a new smartwatch.
Huawei seemingly has a second-gen blood pressure wearable – Watch D2 which could launch this month. The respective smartwatch has been in the rumors since last year. However, the company may finally release it in the consumer market.
Further details read that the Huawei Watch D2 has been codenamed “LUCA”. The Chinese name of the device is “Blood Pressure Monitor Generation 2”.
The tipster didn’t reveal any other information about this upcoming wearable. But if the leak is accurate, we may grab the official glimpse of the ultimate smartwatch by the end of this month. Till then, Huawei might share an official teaser of this product.
Huawei Watch D comes in a muscular box-shaped design. It sports a 2.5D curved display solution. The screen panel measures 1.64-inch AMOLED with a 456 x 280 pixels resolution and supports 326 PPI (Pixel Per Inch).
One of the main highlights of the Huawei Watch D wearable is the blood pressure measurement. It consists of a mini pump, airbag, a high-precision pressure sensor, and meticulous pressure feedback controls to detect blood pressure accurately.
Another feature is ECG Analysis. The watch has an ECG app with an ECG sensor module. It provides single-lead ECG measurements, real-time analysis, sinus rhythm, atrial fibrillation, and various other health-related reports.
It would be worth seeing what new changes the alleged Watch D2 will bring over its predecessors.
